Experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor, Chief Executive Officer and Business Consultant specialising in Strategic Growth plans, Business Profitability improvement initiatives, transformational turnarounds, optimizing operational efficiencies, maximising shareholder returns and developing exit strategies.

With over 40 years experience predominately in FMCG family owned businesses, my networks and contacts stretch across a broad range of channels including Grocery, Foodservice, P&C, Hardware, Liquor, Global Export markets and consulting service providers.

Over 25 years In an executive capacity as CEO/MD/GM Sales & Marketing I have led, developed and implemented 4 key business turnarounds with a focus on top line growth to drive bottom line growth

*As MD rescued a business from impending insolvency, grew Revenue from $19m p/a to $55m p/a & EBIT from (-$1.1m) to $5.5m p/a.

*As GM Sales & Marketing implemented Strategic Growth Plans increasing EBIT from $450k p/a to $22mill p/a.

*As CEO employed to turn around a historic negative EBIT result and successfully delivered profit within 18 months and reset the business to deliver ongoing future healthy positive profit results.

*As GM Sales & Mkt turnaround troubled ASX Listed business, which had three-year average annual EBIT decline of -28%. Initiated new operational and marketing strategies resulting in a profit growth turnaround of +68% in 18 months

My background also includes previously operating as a Licensed Business Broker/Valuer which involved managing the sales process transactions for Private businesses and advising mentoring business owners on leveraging the key value drivers to maximise the future sale value of their businesses.
I have also owned/operated an Executive Recruitment Search Agency and can add my experience and value in this field in any capacity required.

I am a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course, and a Graduate from Oxford University Business College in the UK

I am passionate about and enjoy assisting Private Business Owners to drive growth initiatives and grow the value of their business.
